The calendar design is done in traditional chinese way which includes the use of ink, calligraph and hieroglyphs. The special feature of the Chinese dye ink technique is the faint color of hieroglyphs that brings a very special relaxed feeling to the whole design. In China 2017 is the year of the rooster: now the bird is embossed on the calendar cover.
