Brochure of HKYDC 2014

The metamorphic and kaleidoscopic graphic in the brochure including the campaign identity is evolved from the concept that design ideas are sparked off after numerous collisions and fusions of varied trivial elements. They like genes and cells under the microscope, that is: constantly changing and evolving. They come from within and determined by our upbringing, our taste and things that we have seen and done in all those years we live. The brochure features not just the works of the competition, but the souls of individuals whose interesting points of view and insights worth more attention.

3D Embossed

The book uses 3D embossing to document and highlight the intricate details of the works meticulously crafted by traditional Singaporean artisans, from paper dragon boats and Indian jewelry to Peranakan beaded shoes. The color pages symbolize the rise and fall of traditional crafts, as the industry begins its developmental period (dull) to its golden age (yellow) and gradually fades (white). A pastel chalk is attached for readers to shade the pages and discover the lost arts of this intangible cultural heritage of Singapore, as only we humans can safeguard, support and bring it back.

Kuwasawa Design School 2022

School guide for Kuwasawa Design School, the first design school in Japan. In recent years, online communication has been increasing, and the line between reality and virtual is becoming blurry. In such a situation, The design team pursued the possibility of design by expressing what was recognized as digital with analog (paper and print). At first glance, it looks like an ordinary book, but the animation works when it is pulled out. The guidebook is divided into separate volumes so that people can enjoy it in various ways. They aimed for a digital expression using typography.

Art and Us

Lewben Art Foundation has published a book of selected works of foundation. The art album consists of two parts: the main one with visualizations and a booklet with information in the pocket. The book creates an impression of the artist sketchbook, therefore, each page is illustrated with original textures and used a stitching technology. To reveal the topic were used a transparent PVC cover and various transparent and rough papers for documentation and markers. As in the sketchbook, the book is rich in various technical principles - foiling, offset printing and silk-screen printing.

The Seeds Of Faith

The Seeds of Faith - The Design of the Admission Letter for BFU, 2018. The whole set includes an admission letter, a notebook and an enrollment guidance. Four types of the letters illustrate stages of the growth process: Breeding, Germinating, Growing and Flourishing. The letter is colored dark green, with silver and golden dots or seeds. The concept of this design is the power of seeds, the research objects for Beijing Forestry University. College students in BFU are seeds, that, with the cultivation and irrigation, can release power to make important contributions in the future.
