After a Bird Fell Down

After a Bird Fell Down is a picture book that combines the structure of a hole book and a pop-up book. The book measures 105 by 150 millimetres and is about 27 millimetres thick, close to the size of a small bird. As the pages are turned, the hole grows larger and the sprout rises higher, while the book itself becomes thinner. The cover is white, has a sand-like texture and holds a transparent sticker printed with a green feather inside a debossed recess. The design shows that passing time brings both loss and new growth.

The pages are printed in four colours on offset paper, chosen for its porous and tactile surface. The report records the results of the fiscal year and sets guidelines for the following year. The design aims to make the publication inclusive for every reader.

Beyond the Blue

Color is used as a simple and universal way to explain complex environmental topics to readers of all ages. The book measures 187 mm by 245 mm and has 90 pages.
