Smile With Wanja

Wanja textbooks are designed to convey the brand message of bringing happiness to everyone. They are designed with vividly rendered graphics and Minecraft stylized characters that visually represent the Powerbox Learning System, which highlights and organizes study contents with boxes. The Wanja’s brand book includes a design guide that clarifies the Wanja identity to create synergized products. As a result, Wanja books have been created to carry a consistent design throughout the entire series.

Saks Books

This book sheds new light on the link between the individual and society in the modern age in analogy with that of the society and university. It’s minimalistic design helps it blend with the home interior and bookshelf. The pure white appearance is suitable for a research book as it evokes a rational sensibility. The motif of two overlapping circles reflects the book’s theme of the individual-society link. A special QR code on the back cover allows easy access to e-books on digital devices.

Tadao Ando

The monograph is made in close collaboration with Tadao Ando Architect and Associates. The design is inspired by Ando's poetics. Covers of the book are based on his landmark signature – concrete with visible traces of formwork – the recorded process of genesis that becomes a shaping quality and reflects Ando’s spirit by a minimalistic and purified form. Use of tracing paper at the beginning of each chapter gives an impression of airiness and play of light and shadow, which evoke the gradual sensory adaptation provided by the design of the architect.

Kolo Mego Uokiyneczka

The 5-part publication is a folk song book containing 1100 songs with notes and lyrics from the Pszczyna region in Poland, intended for folk choirs, ensambles and musicians. The design is inspired by the manuscript and typewriter effects. The names of chapters are printed on bleeds and represent typewriting errors crossovers (“xxx”) visually similar to folkwear patterns. The use of 3 colors (dark burgundy, blue and violet) refers to the ink used in manuscripts. 5 notebooks in a common etui are handy to use when singing and easily photocopyable, due to the a4 format.

For that occasion the Azrieli Fellows Program released a special edition book that focus on some of those remarkable Fellows.

Lyf

The inspiration for creation of the calendar was the energy of young, creative people taking part in the international Lodz Young Fashion Award event. The project combines a metallic cover referring to the mirror, an inseparable tool of every fashion designer, fluorescent colors that encourage and inspire action and provide a lot of free space for the creative search. It starts with the date of this year's contest and ends with the date of the next edition of the event. It has the character of a personal diary, its idea is to accompany participants and fans of the contest throughout the year.
