Each chapter is independent and restores part of the market scene. Paper similar to the advertising flyers found at the market was chosen for one chapter.

The Classic of Tea is a book design based on the earliest known written record of tea. The book and its packaging are made entirely of beech wood. The central title is carved in red copper. Each page is a wooden panel that can be removed and viewed separately. The lid opens from the middle towards both sides, so the complete book can be lifted out. The pages are produced with a laser engraving machine and paint. The choice of materials refers to ancient Chinese culture, which was recorded on bamboo, wood and bronze, the same materials linked to early tea culture.

TMD Journal

TMD Journal examines type design not as visual styling but as a structured system that organizes meaning. In response to the widespread use of digital fonts as surface level assets, the publication repositions typography as a medium for constructing thought and communication. Each chapter presents an original type system through its conceptual premise, structural logic and applied context, showing how typographic decisions translate into form and use. The journal provides a framework for understanding type as an active component in branding and communication.
