To celebrate the success, designers used "Lightning Green" and black colors, as seen on the special edition, throughout the Rimac Magazine Issue 03, building a dynamic, striking, and occasionally unconventional layout designed to stun and captivate the readers.

Through innovative design, Gongche Sketch Book facilitates a profound understanding of the charm of Gongche notation among people from different cultures, languages, and eras. It serves as a cultural conduit, connecting the past with the present, allowing the enchanting resonance of Gongche to spread globally. Gongche Sketch Book’s unique paper tape mechanism breathes life into the Gongche characters, creating a three-dimensional and dynamic representation. This ingenious design not only pays homage to tradition but also provides music enthusiasts with a multisensory feast.

Children on the Move

Children on the move face severe risks, yet reliable definition and data for protection is lacking. To address this gap, Idac (a cross-sectoral global coalition jointly led by Eurostat, Iom, Oecd, Unhcr and Unicef), released this publication, offering essential definitions, data, and practices. Three isometric infographic illustrations are created to define, distinguish and explain the various situations and statuses of children on the move. Standardizing migration terms is crucial for accurately identifying and supporting these children, ensuring evidence based policies for their wellbeing.

Centered around New York coffee shops, it captures how new immigrants navigate connection and belonging. The sewn and vacuum sealed format evokes impermanence and emotional tension. Through personal narratives, the project uncovers the social value of small businesses and reframes emotional design as a tool for inclusion.

Brooklyn Academy of Music

This concept design for BAM’s New Wave event captures the dynamic energy of theater through die-cut typography and stage-inspired lighting patterns. Drawing from the movement of drapes and the interplay of light and shadow, the design creates a layered, immersive experience. Each chapter features distinct patterns blended with imagery, forming a cohesive visual narrative that reflects the event’s diverse themes while maintaining a unified identity.

3D Embossed

The book uses 3D embossing to document and highlight the intricate details of the works meticulously crafted by traditional Singaporean artisans, from paper dragon boats and Indian jewelry to Peranakan beaded shoes. The color pages symbolize the rise and fall of traditional crafts, as the industry begins its developmental period (dull) to its golden age (yellow) and gradually fades (white). A pastel chalk is attached for readers to shade the pages and discover the lost arts of this intangible cultural heritage of Singapore, as only we humans can safeguard, support and bring it back.
