The training program for 10-14 years old footballers was developed by Adidas, the German Football Association, and Russian Football Union. The 300 pages guidebook was created for the trainers so they could implement the system in their everyday work. To make the book easy to use, all the content is presented in form of infographics. The football field grid serves as an inspiration for the visual style.

Discussing Time

Discussing Time is a collective book design project for the typographic sculptures with the letter time. The designer gathered a group of people to think and discuss time and make sculptures based on their expressions. The idea of the designer Zona's sculptures originates from the natural phenomenon of ice melting into the water. She wants to make the audiences experience the passage of time while seeing the sculpture. The book design combines 16th century book design elements with modern techniques to span the idea of time.

After a Bird Fell Down

This picture book combines the form of cut-out book and pop-up book. While reading page by page, readers would find out that the hole becomes further deeper. At the same time, the sprout in the middle of each page gradually pops out. This book takes such kind of simultaneous up and down as a hint. It not only describes what a bird becomes after death. This book also portrays the sprout of life.

The Big Book of Bullshit

The Big Book of Bullshit publication is a graphic exploration of truth, trust and lies and is divided into 3 visually juxtaposed chapters. The Truth: An illustrated essay on the psychology of deception. The Trust: a visual investigation on the notion trust and The Lies: An illustrated gallery of bullshit, all derived from anonymous confessions of deception. The book's visual layout takes inspiration from Jan Tschichold's 'Van de Graaf canon', used in book design to divide a page in pleasing proportions.

Dorina Nowill

The annual report Dorina Nowill is a publication that presents annual results of the foundation's performance, essential for the maintenance of its funders, which allow it to assist blind or with low vision people free of charge. The graphic project developed by Laika sought to bring the reality of the blind to the experience of reading the book, exploring the tactile sensation, as a relief in the printing of the cover, and the points printed in Braille, presenting the reader with aspects of the daily life of blind or with low vision people through Braille reading resources.
